Nagaoka festival is held from 1st to 3rd of Aug.
The famous biggest traditional fireworks would bloom in the air only on the 2nd and 3rd - two nights.
The festival is something we can really proud of our city.
Not a single person wouldn't be surprised by our fireworks.
When you sit by the longest river in Japan to watch the fireworks, you will feel the vibration of the fireworks, you will smell the smoke, you will enjoy the happy people.
When you sit at the mountain, you will enjoy the quietness, you will see the entire fireworks just like in the picture flame, you will enjoy the company you are with.
When you sit on couch at my house, you will enjoy homemade dishes, you will enjoy the easy access, you will enjoy my dad's talk!
I missed it again this year.

今年も撮影に行ってきましたが、初日は雨と煙でメインの大きな花火全滅。でも迫力は最高でした。初めて見る人は感動で泣いてたよ〜。

Saturday (tomorrow) I'm going into Niigata city to visit someone in the morning, then Noriya's family's coming over in the evening. No plans for Sunday (that I know of) .. you think we can meet up?
